About Toft Tornado
Toft Tornado is a light fawn male carrying some of the strongest genetics developed over more than 20 years of selective breeding at Toft Alpacas. His pedigree traces back to the legendary Purrumbete El Dorado, a foundation sire of the Australian alpaca industry, and he continues to represent that influential lineage through Lavender Park Tulley, an exceptional stud whose impact in the UK is still evident through his progeny. Tornado is correctly conformed on a well-balanced, compact frame with excellent chest width, and he consistently produces a superfine, uniform fleece with strong density and excellent coverage through to his extremities.
Closely related to the multiple championship-winning Toft Timogen, Tornado forms part of a rare and highly valuable genetic pairing that continues to hold significance within modern breeding programmes. Although no longer actively used for outside stud matings, his influence remains clearly visible through the quality and consistency of his progeny, with many carrying forward his desirable fleece traits and overall type. His genetics continue to be a respected and proven asset within the herd.
