Pet Alpaca Sales

Considering alpacas? We are happy to help! Alpacas make wonderful pets and great lawn mowers. Feel free to get in touch and ask whatever questions you have to determine whether pet alpacas are right for you. See our Sales Policies page for more info on purchasing alpacas.

Pet Females

Female alpacas aren't sold as pets very often as they are usually put into the breeding programme. They will only be sold as pets when they need to be retired from the breeding program due to a reproductive issue or age.

Pet Males

Males are more commonly sold as pets. This is purely because we have to judge a male's breeding potential more strictly since a stud male is capable of producing hundreds of progeny in his lifetime. A male alpaca needs to be exceptional to be considered a stud. All the pets we sell are happy and healthy, just not destined to be a stud.

We have some pets for sale, however are yet to added onto this website. If you would like to enquire, please email us directly to discuss info@capitalalpaca.com
